Tears

To say that I am having a hard time is the least that I could say about my restart into my healthy lifestyle.  After the holidays and the stress of being a person down in our department at work I am just fighting with the food that I am eating.  I was in tears this morning while getting off the scale and into the shower.  I am just sad.

Every day is a new day.  I will begin again...  TODAY!

My new quote that I have swiped with help me to motivate:

"The sweat is nothing compared to the tears."

From now on, I will not the one crying!

  1. Chin up! You'll get there! There are set backs all the time but don't get discouraged. You did it once and you'll do it again. Hey, if you have a smart phone, check out myfitnesspal from the app store. It's free and you'll LOVE IT! It even scans bar codes so I can enter all my nutrition info and serving sizes quickly and move on with my day. It graphs my progress which is UPLIFTING and it sounds like you might could (yes I did just say might could) use some UPLIFTING right about now!!

  3. I have been using MFP for months but I never knew about the bar code scanner! I am so geeking out this morning. :) Thanks for kind words and sticking with me. Today is a new day.

  4. Hey Girl...Every day is a new day, a new beginning, a new start. Don't beat yourself up. All that does is make you sad and frustrated which often causes 'self-comfort thru food' behavior. Ick! I've seen you make huge leaps before in your physical fitness. I KNOW you can do this. Just take one step at a time. One really good goal each day. It'll happen. Cheering for you!!!
